Are Tickets needed? No, it is a FREE event, everyone is welcome! Be there on time, you do not want to miss anything! All ages welcome!
What is it?
It is a reconciliation musical project.
It consists of a small play that showcases some sad events that happened to our Indigenous people in order to create awareness and motivate our community to see the value and strength of unity through music. We all can have a better world if we learn to embrace our differences, if we emphasize to our new generations the importance of values such as respect, love, empathy, inclusion, respect and unity.
The play will close with an invitation for everybody to do better, connect with different cultures, and be open to make friends with people who do not look like us and work together for a better world. Just because together we are much stronger.
After the play, the closing will be bands playing happy songs for everyone to sing and dance along. Step by step we are aiming for a more inclusive, respectful and caring world!

RECONCILIATION PLAY SINOPSIS 2025
This is a reconciliation play. The story is about 4 colorful birds. Each bird is completely different but they were born in the same nest. That is how the story starts. This represents the bond of love and differences we had when the world initiated. The story develops while the musicians play their fusioned music. The birds are happy and dance together, however, a difference/an issue arises with the black dove and she abandons them. As she leaves, she is found by hunters that artistically represent the repression, hate, resentment, etc.
The black dove turns her back to her siblings and helps the hunters tear them down. The play will be represented through music and dance when the hunters go after the birds, hurt them and put them in cages.
As the birds are in cages, the indigenous and non indigenous warriors from the past show up. This represents how the strength lives within us from our ancestors and roots. We will always find a way to be released from any cage as long as the hunters are defeated.
The play will show how the warriors fight the hunters and release the birds, however the black dove remains in a cage as she conspires with the hunters.
The black dove remains in a cage for a while and she understands how much she hurt her siblings and misses them. Her siblings on the other hand miss her and go look for her to release her.
As the black dove is released, they celebrate their reconciliation and give each other an opportunity to do better. The play will end with happy music for people to spend time together and open their minds to differences and realize that all our hearts beat at the same rhythm of the music.
